Title: Does Yahoo Directory submission worth?

I want to submit my website in Yahoo Directory for 300$ but will this affect my ranking in Yahoo and Yahoo SERP.

I don&#39;t think $300 for the Yahoo Network is what it used to be.&nbsp; Directories were the &#39;in thing&#39; when it first arrived but not any more.<br /><br />I think in about 5 years time, we will be penalized for having links in directories - but that&#39;s just my opinion.

I don&#39;t think it&#39;s worth it because it doesn&#39;t really do much benefit for rankings in Google.

Yahoo directory is not free so i must say that it is not worth it. Free Directory submission is worth it. It is FREE and you can get backlinks from them .

Its not as worth it any more. <br />if you check the traffic to the urls, its not as powerful as it used to be. <br />rather pay $15 for 100 article posts, this should driver more quality traffic to you.<br />

Paid submission cannot be encouraged. I am against the policy of Yahoo in this paid directory submission. It is worthless.

I don’t know how you installed Geany or what version of Ubuntu you are using, but I don’t have /usr/local/share/geany/
